TV Licence Concession If your child is Severely Sight Impaired, you can apply for a 50% concession on your TV licence

Travel

Blue Badge Scheme Severely Sight Impaired Children aged two or over or those in receipt of the higher rate of DLA may be entitled to a blue badge for parking concessions.

Bus Pass Concession Severely Sight Impaired and Sight Impaired Children of 5 or over are eligible for a bus pass for free local travel from the age of five from their local authority 

Disabled Persons Railcard Sight impaired and severely sight impaired children over the age of five can apply for a Disabled Person’s Railcard

(You may however be better off applying for a Family and Friends Railcard until your child is 16)
